- Day01
Arrival in Kigali – Volcanoes National Park
Arrive at Kigali International Airport and meet your driver-guide. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a short city tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, the bustling Kimironko market, and the Caplaki craft village. After lunch in Kigali, drive to the Volcanoes National Park area (2.5 hours), arriving at your lodge in time for dinner and an overnight stay.
- Day02
Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After an early breakfast, transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi for your pre-trekking briefing. You will be assigned to one of 10 habituated gorilla groups. The trek takes 1–4 hours through the bamboo forest on the slopes of the Virunga volcanoes. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
- Day03
Volcanoes – Kigali – Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a final visit to a craft market or the Inema Arts Centre before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.
